Spherion Professional Services, a national recruiting and staffing agency with a locally owned office in South Burlington, VT is seeking an Executive Assistant for our client in South Burlington, VT. This position is supporting the Senior Director of Sustainability for a high profile technology and manufacturing company.  Candidate must possess executive administrative experience including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense management, meeting/event coordination, budget tracking and presentations.

Candidate will provide high-quality administrative support to the Senior Director of Sustainability to include calendar management, meeting, event and travel coordination, reports, presentations, correspondence and budget tracking.


Essential Functions:

* Provide full, high-quality administrative support to the Senior Director of Sustainability.

* Manage overall sustainability executive and committee schedules, calendars and coordinate meetings.

* Develop and maintain presentation materials regarding sustainability programs and achievements.

* Support sustainability budget with reporting, cross-validation of journal entries and accounts payable.

* Coordinate travel to include itinerary, arrangements and travel expense management.

* Manage purchase orders, payment schedules and negative cash flow.

* Coordinate with event planners and other agencies as needed.

* Prepare contracts, correspondence, reports and other documentation as needed.

* Manage tri-annual External Advisory Panel meeting.



* Four years’ experience in a high-level executive support role.

* Ability to efficiently manage multiple deadlines, projects and tasks.

* High-level Proficiency in MsWord, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

* Excellent communication skills with strong written and verbal expertise.

* Ability to provide calendar management, anticipate needs and respond proactively.

* Experience working with budgets, expense reporting, and ability to work with numbers.

* Experience coordinating executive meetings and arranging travel.

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
