Position Summary


Responsible for a wide range of duties that are critical to loans originated and processed with an emphasis on accurate transaction processing and strong customer service skills.


Position Accountabilities


·         Sorts all incoming mail and routes to the appropriate area within the department


·         Scans and images all incoming customer information to be used in the

Underwriting process and follow up process at the direction of the Service



·         Ensures that customers receive prompt, courteous and accurate responses

through email, fax, and the telephone.  Resolves any problems in a timely manner or escalates to supervisory staff


·         Communicates with branch staff, at the direction of the Service Manager, for follow up on items necessary for underwriters to approve credit requests.  This may include, but is not limited to, additional financial information, customer information, and organizational documentation


·         May assist with follow up for conditions set forth by the underwriting staff

·         including: 4506, pay-off demand letters, FCRA, OFAC, and other conditions set within the company


·         May assist with entering and processing non-financial renewals as well as eRAM renewals at the direction of the manager


·         May assist in completing loan documentation orders and ensuring that they are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner

·         May process and mail adverse action notices as requested by the customers and/or branches


·         May process new requests to verify that they are complete and ready for review or if additional information is needed, in addition to following for any needed information, entering tie-in-debt, pulling credit, and sending pre-disclosure letters at the direction of the manager


·         Identifies and recommends opportunities to increase revenues, expand product line and improve efficiencies within the processing department


·         Performs other duties as assigned


Required Education or Equivalent Experience

·         High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

·         One year of experience in the financial services industry or related customer service field


Position is Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
