Candidate will be responsible for maintaining production equipment and facility needs. A two year maintenance-related degree or applicable manufacturing experience required.

Desired mechanical knowledge includes: pneumatics/hydraulics, electronics and controls. Machining experience and PLC knowledge a plus

Competitive pay based on experience, plus differential pay for working the evening shift.


The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintaining /improving equipment, general maintenance of the building and grounds, carpentry and plumbing, and Preventive Maintenance.

This position is responsible for the install, repair and maintenance of production equipment, physical structures and systems. This individual is encouraged to work as a team, develop daily goals/strategies and ensure all equipment is running effectively and efficiently

Major Job Functions - Including, but not limited to:

  • Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment and assist in machine repairs
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as, grinder, drill, milling machine, welder , and lathe to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools
  • Perform daily housekeeping in work areas and communicate activities to affected personnel
  • Perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and facility
  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance work orders for equipment in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining thoroughness. This may include lubrication, adjustment or replacement of parts. Also identify potential work to be scheduled
  • Perform regular inspections and repairs of building systems and grounds and perform journeyman level carpentry work and welding work; involving: building and assembling work stations and tools.  This may include preparation for layout changes, assembling equipment, installs, and maintaining pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
  • Communicate safety and safety training, ensure equipment is repaired as needed, and ensure that employees are properly trained, according to safety standards, on how to utilize new equipment


Required Skills, Knowledge, and Work Characteristics:

  • This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • This position must be able to work in a group environment, both accepting and giving mentorship, as well as be able to accomplish tasks individually with flexibility and adaptability
  • This position must be very customer service oriented and be able to handle difficult or emotional situations by treating people with respect and integrity and inspiring the trust of others
  • Required skills for this position include time and task management along with problem solving
  • Required knowledge for this position includes: an understanding of automation concepts and applications; mechanical, mathematical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications


Education/ Training:

  • Associates Degree in or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or one to two years related experience/training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferred mechanical knowledge includes: pneumatics/hydraulics, electrical motors, controls, sensors, and PLCs
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of maintenance EAM software (7I) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access) & Outlook

$14-20/hour DOE
