Summary of position: 

Assist Management during assigned shift and man and maintain the restaurant facility during scheduled shift.



  • Be able to perform all functions of a server and cashier
  • Manage staff shift-changes
  • Assure customers are given a “timely welcome" by servers
  • Always pay attention to the food window
  • Direct servers when they are able to take their breaks
  • Train new employees
  • Check side-work schedules to make sure everything is getting done during the scheduled shift before anyone leaves for the day
  • Keep an eye on the floor continuously to assure floor is being kept up, customers are attended to, and everyone is performing their duties to standards
  • Handle customer complaints that arise during scheduled shift to a proper solution
  • Reconcile daily sales and prepare deposits
  • Reprimand employees and document as needed for tardiness, conduct, attendance, or performance
  • Assist manager is any aspect of the operation of the restaurant as needed by management




  • High school graduate or equivalent with good math and comprehensive skills in order to maintain tills and reconcile daily sales and deposits
  • Self-Motivated with attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Understand, follow and kindly enforce all policies stated in the employee handbook
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate Point of Sale system and computer operating system for restaurant
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time while carrying, lifting, and stretching at a steady pace
