FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 4, 2005 —Spherion Corporation (NYSE: SFN), for the sixth time, has been named one of Fortune Magazine’s Most Admired Companies in the temporary help industry. The rankings appear in the March 7, 2005 issue of Fortune Magazine.

Spherion was recognized by Fortune Magazine for excellence in the eight key attributes used to evaluate Most Admired companies, including: innovation, financial soundness, employee talent, use of corporate assets, long-term investment value, social responsibility, quality of management and quality of products/services.
To determine the rankings, Fortune Magazine and its survey partner, Hay Group, chose the 582 largest companies in 65 industry sectors and then asked 10,000 executives, directors and securities analysts to rate the companies in their own industries based on the above criteria.
