Leading Staffing Firm’s CEO to be Among Regular Contributors
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., August 14, 2006 — Spherion Corporation (NYSE:SFN), a leader in recruiting and staffing services, has officially entered the Blogosphere with its interactive blog for the career-minded called The Big TimeSM, which was recently launched at www.spherion.com/careerblog.
The Big Time is the first official blog created by a major staffing company aimed entirely at workers looking to advance their careers. It will feature regular posts from the Company’s extensive network of recruitment professionals and employment experts from around the U.S. Content will include helpful advice and commentary visitors can use in making decisions about their own careers. Visitors will also have the ability to join the conversation, posting their own questions and comments.
Among the topics The Big Time will address are achieving work/life balance, geographic career trends and advice for job seekers. The blog will also feature an ongoing cartoon series called Life in the Cubicle and advice from Seymour Jobs, a fictional career advisor with whom blog visitors can interact during their visit.
