2 Production Supervisors 1st Shift

Job Description

My client, an electronics manufacturer, is looking to add Production Supervisors to 1st shift operations. This individual will direct the overall activities of the manufacturing facility to ensure customer needs are met to include production performance, quality, cost and timely shipment of orders. Provide manufacturing insight by compiling, initiating, sorting and analyzing production performance data.Work with Manufacturing Engineering department to assist with developing, troubleshooting and improving manufacturing processes. Lead and motivate employees to maximize productivity and minimize operating costs. Analyze production operations and key metrics to ensure that the plant maintains high quality and safety standards. Hire, train, develop and appraise production staff. Make recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to plant property.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s Degree; 3+ years of Manufacturing supervision and demonstrated knowledge of lean/six sigma. This candidate must have prior experience with cost containment and managing a production budget.
