Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (include the following. Other duties may be assigned).
Ensure manufactured products conform to the specifications set forth by our customer?s work instructions
? Receive and document all incoming raw materials.
? Perform analysis on raw materials such as microscopic, pH, viscosity, torque testing, etc.
? Approve or quarantine incoming raw materials as outlined in SOPs.
? Confirm identification codes on raw materials in staging area.
? Approve set-up of new jobs.
? Prepare sample boards for individual jobs indicating acceptable and unacceptable limits for blisters, packets
? Keep status boards on production lines current.
? Collect samples from production lines for Quality Control testing.
? Perform analysis on finished products, such as weighing, desiccation, vacuum testing, etc.
? Perform laboratory instrument calibrations.
? Record all analysis results on lab documentation.
? Perform End of Lot Inspections.
? Audit lab documentation.
? Ensure finished product meets or exceeds standards according to the Packing Instructions and sample board.
? Ensure cGMP procedures are understood and being followed.
? Print labels for lab samples, customer samples and in-house retains.
? Print labels for product packing as requested by production and verify for correctness.
? Send samples to customers and testing labs as specified in the Packaging Instructions.
? Files retain samples from the production runs according the SOPs.
Working hours: Monday - Friday
Associates degree in science related field with 2 years Quality Control experience or High School diploma with 5
Quality Control experience OR any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that
provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must be proficient in computers and software applications.
- Must be detailed oriented, highly organized and have strong decision making skills.
- Must have good vision (can be corrected vision).
- Must have color acuity.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (including shift changes).
