Job Description

Partnered with a growing, fast paced beverage manufacturer seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team located in Haines City, FL. This position is responsible for the daily execution of production plans including pasteurization, drumming, and blending to meet finished product specifications and customer orders. -This is an immediate direct hire opportunity with a salary DOE + benefits package!

Responsibilities:
-Oversees ingredient staging process and ensures effective usage with minimal waste.
-Communicates regularly throughout each day with production planning, bottling, and fruit processing team members.
-Maintains up-to-date process documentation.
-Regularly participates in developing and reviewing SOPs, including participation in daily SOP training in the pre-shift stand up meetings.
-Performs weekly approval and upkeep of the employee time system in Attendance Enterprise.
-Leads process improvement effort for the production operation and other related processes.
-Trains employees to ensure excellent performance in food safety.
-Ensures that employees follow all company policies and procedures, including GMPs, and all Safety and Quality requirements.
-Inspects all job assignments for quality and completion.
-Inspects production areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met.
-Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
-Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
-Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs and Quality standards.
-Other duties as assigned or required.

Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
-Education: High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
-Experience: 5+ years food or beverage production experience in a leadership role preferred.

-Language/Communications:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Foreign language skills, particularly Spanish, required.
