Accounting Clerk

Job Description

Local business services company is looking for an accounting clerk to support their busy finance team. This is a long term temporary opportunity covering a leave of absence.

Great opportunity! 8 AM to 4:30PM work schedule

Responsibilities:
Updating billing rates and entering monthly fees for invoicing
Creating and sending monthly bills
Tracking incoming payments and applying to outstanding invoices
Creating weekly journal entries and payments to stop loss carriers (check and ACH)
Depositing checks and reconciling cash balance

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
Great computer skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a deadline oriented environment

Education:
Associate

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Relevant accounting experience is preferred.
Ability to start a position quickly and must be able to commit to a long term position.
