Job Description

Data entry, reports to the Controller, Must know Accounting processes and GL coding.

Responsibilities:
- Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; record entries
- Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal I.D. numbers, scheduling and preparing checks and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation
- Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos
- Issue stop-payments or purchase order amendments
- Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks
- Maintain historical records
- Report sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
- Protect the company's value by keeping information confidential

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Solid knowledge of GL Coding
- Data Entry experience
- 10-key
- Proven understanding of the accounting process

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
- Must have proof of U.S. citizenship or valid work visa
