Job Description

The administrative assistant is responsible for completing administrative duties for the President; including correspondence management, file maintenance, scheduiling and organization of internal/external meetings/events, project tracking and follow up, greeting guests and representing officers in a professional and tactful manner.

- Serve as liaison between the President and the VP of Facilities and Real Estate. Serve as support staff by maintaining communication with each department, and maintaining records and files
- Assists with and coordinates special projects, including but not limited to those directed by the President and Area Supervisors.
- Provide written and oral communication via status reports and distributed information to ensure President is kept apprised of all operations within the company.
- Coordinates travel arrangements for President and his subordinates, as necessary.
- Organize all details of meetings, events and special functions as needed (specifically Manager Retreat, Awards Banquet, Supervisor Meetings, Manager Meetings and Grand Openings).
- Assists in the handling of customer complaint calls including preparation of summary of complaint to be routed to the appropriate party, following up to resolve
- Prepares regular reports for review by the President and his subordinates.
- Handles all requests for donations (monies/product) contribution letters including the tracking of all contribution requests.
- Participate in executive staff meetings to maintain written notes and documentation of discussions.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving, decision making, analytical and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team.

- GED or 2- 3 years relevant work experience. In an office setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
