Job Description

Local Johnson City real estate/vacation rental company is seeking a PART-TIME (18-20 hr.) Administrative Assistant to start after January 1st 2018. The ideal candidate will be a SALES FOCUSED person who enjoys meeting and greeting potential customers, guests and following up on sales leads. Business tasks will include office responsibilities and handling vacation rentals. The person in this position must take every step to ensure our guests are delighted and completely satisfied with their stay & the process.

Schedule: Must sometimes be flexible in work shift which could include some weekend time (such as phone or email responses for vacation rentals).

Salary: $10-$15 BOE with potential of bonus incentives directly associated with their production and contribution to the profitability of the business

AS AN ORGANIZATION, we are professional, serious, and detailed, yet casual in our approach to individuals and in our interaction with sellers, buyers & renters.

Working hours: Mostly daytime hours

--Marketing to sellers, buyers and renters using a system of direct mail, online marketing, phone calling, etc.
--Marketing properties for sale or rent and maintain an online presence through website, add sites such as Zillow, email blasts, etc.
--Creating and following up on sales leads.
--Processing Applications/Information Sheets from renters, buyers & sellers.
--Receiving calls and screening potential buyers, sellers, and renter's.
--Setting appointments.
--Coordinating and reviewing paperwork for leases, purchases and sales.

--Demonstrate a strong commitment to personal growth and goal setting and possess an ability to organize time to track tasks and accomplishments both personally and in the business world.
--Must be comfortable working alone and not need a busy office environment.
--Excellent customer service ability and problem solving skills.
--High integrity and abide by privacy regulations to maintain business & customer privacy.
--Must maintain a professional but casual business appearance with a positive attitude that leads to high performance.
--Additional duties may include: mapping out/delegating marketing or various tasks to others, proofreading, online research, developing and/or enhancing the website through the use of videos, pictures and content, etc. and other job duties as requested by the Administrator/Owner.

-College Education or Equivalent
-Prior customer service experience, sales experience a plus
Good phone voice
Professional demeanor
Good computer skills, knowledge of online marketing a plus
Small business office experience a plus
PHYSICAL requirements:
-No heavy physical activity required.
