Job Description

  Admin_Warehouse Clerk   The position will be responsible for the administrative duties and warehouse facility.  Administrative duties include AP entry using Peoplesoft and Maximo platforms, basic filing and records management duties, monitoring and ordering office supplies.  Warehouse duties include monitoring plant inventory, preparation of purchase requisitions, obtaining vendor quotes and performing receipt and shipping of parts and materials. Candidate ensures strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures as they relate to warehousing and parts storage.  Develops a clear understanding of warehousing process and work with external buyer to ensure that needed inventory is reordered timely and that weekly inventory counts are completed as required. This role will also support annual internal/external inventory audits.  

Skills

 Basic Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the following areas: AP functions, clerical work, procurement, shipping/receiving, work management systems, and inventory management. Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed environment, have excellent organizational skills and maintain multiple priorities. Computer skills: Microsoft Office systems i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook, work/inventory management systems, AP systems.  Prior requisition writing experience preferred. Must possess the manual dexterity required to operate keyboards, push buttons, dials, valves, and mechanically actuated devices. Must possess team awareness skills and team relationship skills. Demonstrated knowledge in the use of proper procedures to complete designated work. Demonstrated effective verbal/written communication skills. Experience contacting vendors to resolve issues, request quotes, follow up on delivery or lead times.
