Job Description

Our client has an opening for an A&P Technician/ Maintenance Technician. Successful candidate will perform aircraft maintenance, troubleshoot and test general aviation aircraft to meet manufacturing standards, and ensure all appropriate logging of maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations. Previous experience as an A&P Technician repairing aircrafts is a must.

Job Description:

Qualified A&P Technician will perform preventative, routine, and 100-hour maintenance as well as phase/event inspections
Perform quality checks on airframe and powerplant systems on aircraft
A&P Technician will troubleshoot, inspect, test, and repair a variety of aircraft systems
Perform bench tests
Fabricate aircraft parts and accessories
Accompany flight crews to perform in-flight troubleshooting and adjustments and perform pre-flight evaluations or airframe and powerplant issues
Ensure all appropriate entries have been made and/or transcribed to the aircraft log books and technical logs with respect to the aircraft maintenance function and airworthiness status of the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations
A&P Technician will need to read and understand FAA and manufacturers maintenance publications
Ensure that components, parts, and materials utilized in maintaining aircraft contain release certification or equipment
Review other A&P Technicians work to ensure accuracy
Write routine reports

Working hours: 8-5 Monday-Friday


Associate's degree in Aircraft Maintenance
A & P license preferred
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience working as an A & P Technician
Previous sheet metal, fabrication, or related experience preferred
Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and technical data
MS Office proficiency
Must be willing to work on-call and occasional overtime
Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Ability to remain standing for extended period of time
Must have own tools
Must be eligible for Inspection Authorization certification


PAY: $15-25, DOE
HOURS: 8-5, Monday-Friday
