We're hiring full-time Waffle Production Labor Workers for a company located in Ogden. Will be completing tasks on the production line, Packaging, Quality Control, and Palletizing. You will be working in the Waffles Bakery Department,and will be packing, stacking, and boxing frozen waffles. You will be filling out paperwork throughout the shift, and also completing sanitation tasks and cleaning on off shifts. Monitor and adjust machinery that wraps products and ensures the production line is operating efficiently and effectively and performs quality control on product wrapped.

There are 2 different lines, and shifts A-G that you could be assigned to.

Line 12 Day 4:45 am-5:15 pm - Pay $13.50
Line 12 Nights 4:45 pm-5:15 am - Pay $13.90
Line 13 Days 4:45 am-3:15 pm - Pay $13.50
Line 13 Nights 6:45 pm-5:15 am - Pay $13.90

The days of the week worked are assigned by your supervisor after starting. Some weekend shifts will be required and there is a $1.00 differential pay for working weekends
This is a temp to hire opportunity, and once hired on full time, starting pay is $18-19/hr.

??? Monitor flow of products on average waist-high conveyor while stacking products in correct numbers for further processing in wrapping machine.
??? Monitor wrapping machine.
??? Monitor and adjust speed of wrapping machine in order to ensure efficient production.
??? Remove defective products from production line.
??? Check bulletin board for products ordered in order to wrap appropriate products according to production needs.
??? Perform minor maintenance on wrapping machine using hand tools.
??? Tally number of units wrapped and record size, weight and type of products and line check for triangle wrapper.
??? Clean work area with chemicals.
??? Maintain timely and regular attendance.
??? Must be able to work late overtime to meet production deadlines.
??? Must be able to rotate to position of Production Specialist.
??? Other production specific duties as needed.
??? Responsible for food safety, food defense and food quality.
??? Must adhere to plant work standards, high quality and productivity standards per plant requirements.
??? Must maintain timely and regular attendance per company policy.
??? Must understand and follow safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards at all times.
??? Consistently meets internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect and willingness to help and support others.

Working hours: 5:45 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

The incumbent will be required to lift, push and pull product and packaging materials, that will weigh a maximum of 50 pounds, while walking for a long distance on a concrete floor.
--Lifting up to 50 pounds
--Lifting pig food totes 35-50 pounds
--Lifting full cases of product 20-25 pounds
--Standing and walking on concrete floor for long periods of time, typically ten or more hours.
--Bending, twisting and lifting 30 pounds.
--Available for 6-7 day work week.
--Must be able to read and write in English.

No Degree Required

Education: HS Diploma or GED, Post HS education preferred
??? Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
??? Good verbal and written communication skills
??? Knowledge of Microsoft applications (excel, word, power point) Or ability to be trained on programs
??? Demonstrated people skills and experience working in a team-based environment.
??? Must have food handlers permit
??? Must have steel toed or composite toed shoes or boots
