Job Description

This position is generally responsible for answering inbound phone calls, email leads, responding to customers in a timely manner, and greeting the customer when they arrive.

- Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least 2% higher than zone or branch average.
- Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner, following the incoming phone scripts to facilitate the phone call, with a goal of setting an appointment with the customer at the dealership.
- Answer emails/leads in a professional and courteous manner in under 15 min, following the email scripts to facilitate the email, with a goal of setting an appointment with the customer at the dealership.
- Answer text messages in a professional and courteous manner in under 15 min, following the text message scripts to facilitate text messages, with a goal of setting an appointment with the customer at the dealership.
- Monitor all inbound/outbound emails in the CRM, and assist sales consultants/sales managers with responses as needed.
- Ensure that all communications via phone, text, email, or in person is professional and courteous. Rudeness to customers will not be tolerated.
- Follow the incoming internet lead process as outlined by the management team. Deviation from this process will not be tolerated.
- Ensure that a sales consultant is ready for all appointments set, waiting at the door for the customer to arrive, with the vehicle selected clean and ready to test drive. This includes appointments that are set outside your scheduled hours. In other words, if you get off at 5 pm and earlier in the day set an appointment for 6 pm, it is your responsibility to ensure that the proper hand-off to the sales consultant has transpired before you leave work.
- Accomplish the forecast that has been established by the General Manager and General Sales Manager.
- Maintain at least minimum training standard set forth by manufacturers.
- Attend ongoing improvement meetings held by management.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work station.
- Know the warranty coverage, policies and procedures set by the factory.
- Work together as a team in keeping the lot clean, including but not limited to shoveling entryways and sidewalks when necessary.
- Schedule appointments using dealership?s policy and approved forms and times allowed.
- Greet customers upon arrival in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
- Acknowledge customers who are waiting.

High School

1-4 years

- General knowledge of vehicle equipment and sales process.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work required
- Two years of experience in a dealership position preferred
