Job Description

Assembler

2nd shift Hours are 3pm-11:30pm, will need to work 1st shift for a month of training though (which would be 7am-3:30pm).

$14.50/hr.
Up to $16 pay rate if candidate has Soldering experience!

Sorting and Checking, Inspection, Tool-Related Assembly. Assembles mechanical components according to blueprint, bill of materials chart, and shop order specifications. Mounts, refines and fastens units using mechanical or power hand tools and gauges
Sets up equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hooding.
Weighs, mixes and identifies items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds and potting materials.
Follows intermediate drawings and procedures.
Performs connector assemblies.
Performs work with limited to no supervision.
Manually loads and/or machine loads retainers into molded plastic inserts per work order instructions.
Bonds loaded front inserts to molded plastic rear inserts per work order instructions.
Bonds interface seals and grommet seals to plastic insert assemblies per work order instructions.
Paints components.
Assembles and bonds EMI rings to connector shell per work order instructions.
Applies identification stamping to various components and assemblies.
Applies paint stripe markings to contacts.
3-5 years' soldering experience
