Long Term- Temp to Hire Opportunites available, looking for hard working employees to join the manufacturing team as an ASSEMBLER

Job Responsibilites Consist of;

  • Complete assembly tasks to meet customer expectations, quality standards and on time delivery requirements.
  • Prepare material for assembly process including documentation review, tool selection, component selection, work station set-up, and disassembly of product
  • Set-up and complete assembly and sub-assembly tasks per the job order
  • Use various hand tools (manual or power) in a safe manner to complete assembly tasks
  • Review completed parts to customer requirements and department standards
  • Perform final assembly process including packaging product for shipment using established materials and methods
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements based on each operation
  • Complete all required production paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, reports, other documentation to meet position objectives, i.e. blueprints, bill of materials, routers, etc.

Working hours: 8:30am-5:00pm 

Pay varies on experience- $12-14/hour 


Skills:

  • Ability to interact with others both verbally and in writing to meet the position objective
  • Worked within a manufacturing environment previously
  • Ability to apply common sense and logic in the resolution of problems
  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes to complete assigned tasks
  • Knowledge of material differences and ability to apply when completing job order
  • Knowledge of power and manual tools and ability to apply knowledge when completing job order
  • Ability to apply intermediate math skill and knowledge of metric and standard conversions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to five years previous industrial  manufacturing experience
  • Frequently required to walk; sit, reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to pass on-boarding drug screen and background check within company guidelines
