Job Description

With the aid of specific tools and microscope, assemble components and assemblies using soldering, epoxy-attach, and wirebonding methods while following proper assembly procedures and routers. Seeking those with superior hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and fine motor dexterity. On-the-job training and off-site certifications provided to the right candidate

Working hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Skills:
Responsibilities:
--Perform soldering on surface mount, through hole, and wired terminal features
--Perform wirebonding of MMIC and discreet circuits
--Make use of assembly and measuring tools, apply epoxy and troubleshoot basic assembly issues
--Read blueprints and follow product assembly instructions
--Accurately record data in routers and database per instructions in routers
--Pursue prioritized daily tasks to completion
--Maintain certification in Soldered Electrical Connections to J-STD-001
--Perform functions that comply to internal process, industry, and customer specifications and standards
--Work closely with designers, engineers and quality personnel
--Assist department with meeting on-time delivery requirements and quality workmanship standards
--Awareness of calibration and shelf-life on all equipment in Assembly Lab
--Teamwork - maintain a positive work atmosphere through respectful communication and treatment of customers, vendors, coworkers and manager
--Capable of utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): gloves when using chemicals or handling heated items, goggles, solder exhaust fan

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
--1 - 3 years experience as a Micro Assembler
--Knowledge of assembly and measuring tools.
--Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
--Excellent organizational skills required.
--Wire bonding skills required.
--Knowledge of common soldering practices and workmanship standards required. Current J-STD-001 certification preferred
--Some computer usage
