Truck Parts - Assistant General Manager (AGM) - - we want highly motivated, career minded leaders with retail auto parts, parts sales and r truck service shop experience - - come grow with us! Join our team of professionals.
Purpose: The AGM provides vital support to the General Manager in the leadership for the marketing and operations and sales functions for the Truck parts industry. This includes hiring/staffing, training, development, and supervision of the staff to maximize the Truck Service's profitability by building and maintaining a loyal customer base within company policy and standards. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for all installs and sales functions while managing the shift(s).
Truck Service Shop
- We provide accurate, efficient service to customers in a friendly and safe retail environment.
- We operate 10 hours a day, six days a week to offer a full range of truck part services.
- Typical services include: wheels & tires, Spray on Bed Liners, roll bars, shocks, bed covers, Light bars and much more depending on customers purchase.
- Monthly safety meetings.
- Managing the Shop manager and the ability to train and work with all the install staff.
- Annual Shop Manager reviews.
Sales Floor
- Excellent understanding of Truck part accessories
- Excellent understanding of customer vision
- Managing the sales staff.
- Training and developing sales staff
- Setting sales staff goals
- Annual Sales team reviews

Working hours: Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
--Minimum of two years supervisory in the appropriate following area: Truck auto Parts, Auto parts sales and related business activity. Sales budgets and growth projections.
--Analysis financial reports (i.e. understanding the calculations on the P &L, coverage ratio, budget & expense reports- etc.) to create positive financial results at all times.
--Exhibit good verbal and written communication skills (i.e. give clean instruction to hourly staff to accomplish assigned task; motivate and train them to unleash their talent).
--Ability to perform all hourly functions to assist when needed.
--Demonstrate proficient customer service skills to provide "Best in Class" service.
--Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
--Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver information clearly in responding to questions from co-workers within the company and the customers.
--Ability to effectively communicate with other profit center general managers and field managers.
--Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and proactively completed assigned duties.

--Lift and carry merchandise items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
--Climb a ladder to reach supplies stored in overhead areas as well as to inspect for cleanliness.
--Sit/Stand/walk for up to ten hours.
