Currently seeking two Machine Builders with a minimum of 5 years' experience in automated machinery; specifically with new electro-mechanical machinery, and preferably packaging machinery, with or without an apprenticeship or certified training.

Direct Hire Non-Exempt Career Opportunity

Starting Salary: $22 - $25 per hour, with occasional overtime as needed

Our ideal candidate will already be familiar with good manufacturing practices, have confidence in their existing skills, be reliable, dedicated, and work well under the pressure of meeting quality demands and deadlines. You will have a clear and solid background in understanding and interpreting mechanical/pneumatic blueprints, machining, and machine assembly and will have performed basic to intermediate troubleshooting and problem-solving activities as well.

This roles main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the ability to:
-Read, interpret and understand mechanical/pneumatic blueprints to fit, assemble, construct, repair, and rebuild packaging machines and equipment using hand and power tools
-Identify, troubleshoot, problem-solve and fix the root cause of machinery and sub assembly problems that arise
-Align mechanical components for manual assembly, with or without using a hoist
-Layout hole locations to drill and tap holes for assembly process
-Perform modifications to parts, manual mills and other fabrication equipment
-Provide feedback, alert, and communicate changes and modifications with engineers throughout the assembly process
-Possible travel to end User sites as needed

Working hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

This position requires you to be skilled in the ability to, or utilization of:
- Push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, walk and lift up to 60 pounds on a consistent basis
- Work in a collaborative, team environment alongside other builders and around other building activities
- Remain organized, self-motivated and achieve scheduled tasks
- Hand Tools: wrenches, Allen wrenches, screw drivers, and pliers
- Basic Fabrication Equipment: band saw, drill press, manual mill, and a drill motor
- Measuring Devices: calipers, micrometers, rulers and tape measure
- Basic Computer Devices and Programs: Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word and other software programs requiring basic data entry
- Communicate with employees of all levels within the company

High School

4-7 years

- High School Diploma, GED, Associates, or Equal
- 5+ years' automated machinery building experience or apprenticeship
