Job Description

Spherion is looking for a motivated and professional Banking Customer Service Representative to start immediately. This temporary, part-time position will last around 2-3 months with flexible working hours between 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. This position will be working about 24-32 hours/week with some 6 hour days and some 4 hour days.

This position spans branches and telephone calls as well as emerging segments including online and mobile. This position drives a critical evolution of our customer experience operations as we strive to be a more customer-centric organization that provides world class and innovative service for all of our valued customers. The Banking Customer Service Representative must demonstrate ability to deliver results and successfully manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to ensure responsiveness, quality, and on-time delivery. This position performs a full range of consumer and business banking service to individual customers, with emphasis on an excellent customer experience, deposit and fee-based services. This position meets with customers via telephone and in-person to discuss needs and identify/recommend solutions to needs. This position will open all types of new accounts and will work with team to distribute and collect any and all paperwork for customers. This position will cross sell a full range of banking products/services to new and existing customers.

--Ensure prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries
--Manage and balance chase drawer accurately
--Open/close deposit accounts (commercial and personal
--Ensure application regulations, disclosures, policies, and procedures are observed
--Project manage organization-wide efforts to improve the customer experience by soliciting customer service quality feedback, customer satisfaction surveys, and customer focused operations metrics

Skills and Qualifications:
--Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
--At least 2-4 years of customer service experience
--Banking experience preferred, but not required
--Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced work environment
--Excellent communication skills both over the phone and in person
--Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
--Strong computer skills
