Job Description

Spherion, a leader in the staffing industry, is looking for a self-motivated, Billing Administrator for an active, premier, law firm. This individual will be responsible for all of the office and legal billing, and be an assistant to the office manager. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, with excellent communications skills and be computer proficient.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute complex bills in a timely manner by ensuring that electronic bills are properly prepared and that split-party billing is managed according to protocol
  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing discrepancies and problems, ensuring that they are resolved immediately
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all clients and firm and billing matters
  • Resolve issues effectively, follow up on delinquent accounts, and handle requests
  • Responsible for carry out a variety of day to day functions


Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Must be computer proficient; this is a high tech, paperless office
  • Excel expert


Education:
Associate

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:

  • Associated degree in related field or relevant experience
  • 3+ years in accounting/billing environment
  • Experience with a law firm and operating an electronic billing system is preferred (Timeslips)
