Job Description

Spherion is seeking an exceptional billing clerk with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ideal candidate has the understanding of pivot tables and the ability to build spreadsheets, and must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities of the billing clerk include:
Compile and prepare invoices for generation.
Perform accounting functions for billing purposes.
Prepare billing invoices.
Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices and record amounts due for items purchased or services performed.
Perform bookkeeping work, including posting invoice amounts.
Answer mail or telephone inquiries regarding rates, routing, or procedures.
Prepare billing journal entries and review for errors.
Resolve discrepancies on invoices.
Review purchase orders, sales tickets, charge slips, or hospital records to compute fees or charges due

Working hours: M-F 8-5

Able to complete work in a timely manner
Detail oriented
Advanced in Microsoft Office, (Word,Excel, Etc.)
Able to prioritize task and multitask
