Responsibilities:
We're looking for a career-minded and results-oriented professional to add to our team! In this position you would be answering incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, setting applicants up with our initial paperwork and getting them into the interview with their respective recruiter. You will be the first point of contact for all job seekers and will be trained to conduct initial phone screens with candidates who have recently applied - easily 50% of your day will be focused on this effort and realistically will call 30-50 candidates a day and complete on average 15-20 phone screens and initiate the testing phase. We place people in a broad array of positions that span office administration, customer service, non-clinical healthcare, accounting, finance, sales, human resources, marketing, engineering, IT, manufacturing and logistics. Thus your ability to communicate effectively and with CONFIDENCE with whomever you are screening is paramount to your success. You will follow up on issued assessments to urge completion as well as call those candidates back that did complete their assessments to schedule them in for their in-person interview.

In addition, you will have a host of administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to, assisting the branch with coordinating orientations, pulling together orientation materials, conducting/recording drug screens, initiating criminal background investigations, conducting reference checks and scanning/attaching paperwork to applicant records in our system. Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Professional demeanor, articulate speaker

Strong customer service skills - regardless of who we are speaking with and whether or not we are able to assist them, everyone should be walking away with a positive impression of Spherion, the candidate "experience" is a

Energetic & able to multi-task with ease

Technology savvy - from MS Office to adapting quickly to our operating system and a number of technology tools that drive our business - can work on 3 or 4 different platforms every day.

Career minded - someone who is looking to grow a professional career where working with people, analyzing information and making decisions multiple times across the course of the day is the norm.

High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
4-year business degree is desired but not required along with 2+ years working in a customer service focused environment and a proven track record of success that can be validated by at least 2 previous managers.
