Job Description

Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager in Thompson Falls

Position Functions:
- Effectively communicate relevant Branch-related information to supervisor.
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans.
- Meet goals and metrics.
- Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately.
- Determine proactive solutions to issues and problems within assigned Branch.
- Serve as organizational role model, both on and off Credit Union facility premises.
- Serve as primary liaison between assigned Branch and all other Branches.
- Receive and review monthly Branch timecards prior to submitting to supervisor.
- Staff, train, coach, develop, motivate, supervise and manage all personnel of assigned Branch.
- Model, ensure and reinforce team-oriented approach throughout assigned Branch.
- Simultaneously hold employees to their job descriptions and provide the training needed to meet those expectations.
- Handle personnel issues directly, using appropriate discretion and respect for all involved.
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
- Address member and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
- Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
- Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration to supervisor.
- Consistently go above and beyond expected work schedule to accomplish what is needed within assigned Branch and the organization as a whole.
- Oversee and ensure staff adherence to compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Comply with all BSA requirements as stated in the Whitefish BSA Policy.
- Follow all Credit Union, Montana and Federal information privacy guidelines.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Act appropriately and for the safety of all during emergency circumstances.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Working knowledge of principles and practices of supervision, training and performance evaluation.
- Ability to prioritize work and oversee multiple simultaneous projects.
- Ability and willingness to establish assigned Branch?s employee schedules to ensure continuous coverage and equal break times for all employees.
- Willingness to obtain additional professional training / certifications as needed.
- Ability and willingness to both adhere to all Credit Union policies and ensure compliance by all Departmental personnel.
- Ability and willingness to work with a variety of office equipment and software systems.

High School

4-7 years

Required Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or banking preferred but not required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Branch processes and regulations required.
- 3-5 years professional experience in accounting, finance or banking required.
- 1-2 years supervisory experience in banking or credit union environment required.
