Job Description

A key member of the company, the BAS Application-Engineer will be responsible for providing turnkey design development and execution of all Application Engineering for HVAC Automation projects. This person shall produce Engineering drawings, Valve Schedules, Damper Schedules, and Network Riser Diagrams to include:
Review of project specifications, drawings and project specific documents to establish project intent.
o Breakdown of scope of work into manageable segments and post to Project team and Project Manager for scheduling.
Attend or receive meeting minutes from project team meeting with customer.
Posting of project engineering specific "Request for Information" (RFI) documentation to Project Manager
Based upon schedule of requirements, follow the sequence of operations as required by project documents and engineered sequence of operation, utilizing established standards to produce your drawing package.
o Production of project specific as-builts based upon initial project construction drawings and field modification mark-ups.
Cooperation in the establishment and enforcement of engineering and programming Standards.
o Maintain the highest quality and customer satisfaction on all projects.

Responsibilities:

Skills:
Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science is desired or equivalent experience.
Two (2) years' experience with the production of DDC / BAS systems.
Experience with Tridium and Alerton preferred.
Understanding of mechanical HVACequipment.
o Understanding of electrical and network wiring preferred.
0 Understanding of standard BAS components and programming of these components preferred.
Excellent computer skills and intimate familiarity with MS-Office products (Word, Excel, Access). We would like you to have some AutoCAD, Visual Basic, Visio and Alerton/Tridium product experience preferred. o Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
o-You must have a valid driver's license from the State of Florida
