Being a Spherion Business Development Manager provides you with the opportunity to be creative with solutions, using the Sandler sales system to generate and develop client leads into lasting partnerships. Through analyzing prospective client needs, marketing calls, networking and conducting client visits, you will be expected to customize strategic recruitment and staffing solutions.

This role's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Completing all necessary 'Selling the Spherion Way' training courses, classes and 1 year of Sandler Continuous Training
- Manage time to effectively service the tri-county area of Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties
- Traveling up to 75% of the job throughout the tri-county, using your own vehicle
- Conducting prospective cold calling, marketing campaigns, one-to-ones, and client visits
- Setting and executing sales appointments
- Identifying key decision makers, their staffing pains and budget requirements
- Conducting and attending local networking and marketing events to generate additional leads & referrals
- Develop, write and present solution based proposals of services to potential clients
- Exceeding weekly and monthly quotas and new account goals
- Collaborating with appropriate internal resources to develop customized staffing and recruiting solutions
- Collaborate with market leadership to create and present formal sales and service presentations
- Maintain written documentation of sales activities to facilitate appropriate reporting
- Execute client visits ensuring customer satisfaction, safety and marketing objectives are being met

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This is a Full Time Career with a Base Salary of $40,000 - $45,000 plus Uncapped Commissions

**Sandler Sales training knowledge and/or experience is a plus, but not required to already have

- Ability to accurately demonstrate organizational and planning skills
- Ability to perform root cause analysis to lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to take initiative and manage time efficiently
- Ability to effectively work autonomously with minimal management direction
- Ability to present, persuade and negotiate
- Ability to follow-up and follow-through on all expectations
- Proficient with Computers, Internet Research and in Software Programs such as: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Salesforce (a plus), People Soft applications (a plus)

- Communication, written and verbal

- Valid FL Driver's License
- Transportation with Valid Insurance
- High School or General Education Diploma
- 4 year business degree or equivalent in related work experience
- 3+ years' professional experience with Business to Business sales
- Knowledge in the Sandler Sales System is a plus (not require)
