Spherion in Dayton is now seeking a Business Development Manager/Outside Sales for our Dayton, OH Office. The Business Development Manager is accountable for increasing the revenue by developing both new and existing clients in the Dayton market.

What it means to be a Business Development Associate:
You will be responsible for successfully generating new client leads through marketing calls, visits and networking. You will assist in analyzing prospective clients’ needs and customizing ideal strategic recruitment and staffing solutions. A BDA in our environment is excited to build long lasting relationships with local business. This person strives to become a trusted client advisor. Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Set and execute sales appointments with key decision makers who hire at prospective clients 
• Attend local networking and marketing events to generate additional leads and referrals 
• Develop, write and present solutions based service package to potential clients
• Exceed required monthly quotas and new account goals

Minimum Requirements:
• College degree is preferred (or the equivalent in related work experience)
• Prior staffing experience is highly preferred
• Must be a self-starter with strong initiative to achieve goals
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal problem solving skills
• Good planning and organizing skills 
• At least one year of experience with B2B sales
