Are you looking for a new sales career in Sarasoto FL? Spherion Staffing Services is NOW HIRING a Business Development Manager for our Sarasota Office! The Business Development Manager would be accountable for creating and implementing a successful sales and marketing strategy to meet/exceed sales/profit targets. Salary will be commensurate based upon experience plus commission.

Responsibilities include:
Sales/Business Development -
- Generating new business through outside sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, telemarketing, territory planning and relationship building.
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan and an effective marketing strategy in order to increase sales and maximize profits by evaluating potential client base; developing new accounts and to increase revenue of existing accounts through telemarketing and outside sales activities.
- Maintain communication with established clients to ensure successful business development and to promote client and employee retention.
- Utilize established marketing programs to increase sales and maximize profits.
- Maintain personal contact with prospects.
- Analyze reports and operating statements to determine if the marketing strategy is producing the desired result.
- Evaluate potential for expanding the client base and increasing revenue from existing accounts.
- Maintain personal contact with active clients to ensure they are satisfied with the quality of service they are receiving.
- Responsible for outside public relations calls.
- Other duties as assigned by management to help support the growth.
- Participate in local professional, business and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition.

Working hours: 8-5

Preferred Requirements -
--4-year college degree or 3-5 years of sales/staffing experience
--Ability to perform business development and external sales activities.
--Computer literacy.
--Communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
--Must be willing to travel between Bradenton and Venice regularly
