Job Description

Spherion is currently accepting resumes for an opportunity as a Business Representative within a well established local client company

The Business Development Representative is responsible for growing new and existing business for the local branch. In this role you will be making cold calls to prospective businesses, putting together presentations, setting appointments and meeting with leaders at prospective clients. The Business Development Representative will be in charge of growing new business to set standards. This position includes a base salary plus commission; (40,000-45,000 base salary). This position requires up to 70% travel; employee will receive compensation for all mileage.

Responsibilities:
- Make cold calls/emails to prospective clients
- Generate leads using company software, community knowledge and industry research
- Make marketing drops at new and existing clients
- Set appointments with new and existing clients to present various solutions to meet their needs
- Build relationships with new clients and continue building relationships with existing clients
- Identify clients staffing needs by meeting with department leaders and reviewing any issues or areas of concern
- Communicate clients needs to the fulfillment team in detail
- Travel to client sites for meetings, relationship updates, etc.
- Additional responsibilities as required

Skills:
- Experience in business to business sales; background in staffing is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience making cold calls and setting initial meetings with businesses successfully

Education:
Associate

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Associates Degree; Bachelor?s Degree
-4 plus years of sales experience
