Job Description

Our client in the West side of Madison is seeking an energetic Care Coordinator to add to their team! Our client helps injured patients and healthcare providers work together to achieve the highest levels of medical care after an accident.

The Care Coordinator plays a vital role in communication with clients, medical professionals, administrative staff and insurance companies to determine insurance coverage limits and manage the administration of a client's claim from start to finish. This is a client-focused position managing a portfolio of claims; coordinating patient care; ensuring accurate and timely billing; negotiation, collection, reconciliation, and reporting of transactions related to the client, insurance companies and provider agreements.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Education: Associate's

Experience: 1 year experience in an office environment


  • Respond to inquiries from potential clients and explain SyndeoCare services
  • Coordinate communication and collect claim information between clients, medical professionals, administrative staff and insurance companies and monitor status of assigned cases
  • Review care needs and direct clients to our portfolio of providers
  • Under the oversight of senior level staff, review claims and client insurance agreements to determine liability coverage amounts and verify proper billing information
  • Prepare invoice for insurance companies per claim and policy agreements and provide to senior level staff for review prior to submittal.
  • Negotiate resolution to basic claims within approved guidelines.
  • Record, reconcile and balance work processed, including payments received, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitor status of assigned cases and ensure satisfactory resolutions

  • Superior customer service and listening skills


  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • An understanding of medical terminology or auto insurance claims adjudication is beneficial but not required
  • The Care Coordinator is at times contacted by patients who do not speak English. The most common languages encountered include: Spanish, Korean, and Vietnamese. Bi-lingual capabilities are a plus, but not required
