Highly regarded, non-profit organization located in North Central, Ohio is currently seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer.  

The facility provides medically supervised care, 24-hour supervision, observation and support for individuals in a residential setting.

Intensive aftercare planning is also a critical service provided to individuals as well as family members.  Competitive salary (to attract top notch, dedicated talent), comprehensive benefits including 403 B plan with employer contribution is offered with this career opportunity.

This position requires relocation to North Central Ohio.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President and Chief Executive Officer will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Nonprofit’s staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission.
This key management leader will ensure ongoing program excellence by implementing rigorous evaluation, monitoring quality and recommending timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals of the organization.     


·        Establish and execute employment and administrative policies and procedures for all functions and for the daily operation of the Nonprofit.  
·       Responsible for fiscal management that generally anticipates operating within the approved budget, ensures maximum resource utilization, and maintenance of the organization in a positive financial position; maintains and enhances programs within budget constraints.  
·       Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing and standards; interpret and apply State and Federal laws, regulations and policies.   
·       Report to and work closely with the Board of Directors to seek their involvement in policy decisions, fundraising and to increase the Nonprofit’s overall visibility with state and community leaders; drives strategic planning process along with the Board of Directors. 
·       Develop and implement new programs for the Nonprofit; identify and utilize State and Federal resources.  
·       Evaluate staffing needs and make recommendations based on appropriate staff levels; interview, hire and oversee training of new staff.  
·       Observe, monitor and ensure that competency of program staff is evaluated against established standards.  
·       Develop and maintain effective working relationships with State and community leaders and the public. 


·        Master’s degree in Psychology or related field is required; coursework in Business related fields is a PLUS
·        Licensed Independent Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, preferred
·        Minimum of five (5) years of management experience with progressive levels of responsibility
·        Demonstrated success in supervising and directing the work of others; prior experience establishing performance standards and evaluating  staff in accordance with these standards
·        Fiscal management experience; demonstrated ability to operate an agency/department within budgetary limits/guidelines
·        Previous experience interpreting and applying laws, regulations and policies; knowledge of licensing requirements and standards applicable to specific non-profit agency
·       Demonstrated ability to drive change in a positive manner
