Job Description

Christian Non-Profit who believes in giving people second chances is seeking a proven and experienced Finance Director for their operations in Brooksville!

This individual will have a passion for helping others and is a proven leader who is able to maintain big picture perspective while executing the financial responsibilities for the entire organization. He/She will have strong Christian values, beliefs and behaviors, and will show a high level of ethics, honesty, self-integrity and character.

The Finance Director will be responsible for managing the financial operations and budget for the entire organization, while executing top level leadership; training, coaching, equipping, developing and encouraging individuals, and providing direction for financial decisions within all departments. Using creative, interpersonal and analytical problem-solving skills, you will establish and achieve the goals, objectives and budgets.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Ability to create, implement, oversee and achieve financial budgets, objectives, plans and goals within all departments; including developing and/or identifying new funding opportunities
- Actively participate in local Bible-believing church
- Analyze and present financial reports
- Oversee all Mission financial, project/program and grants accounting
- Coordinate and lead annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, and finance committee of the Board
- Ensure compliance with all tax reporting: income, sales, employment
- Maintain, update and implement necessary business policies, accounting practices of all department's policy and procedure manuals


1-4 years

This position requires you to have the ability to operate a motor vehicle, have a valid FL Driver?s License, provide proof of Insurance, and submit to a Criminal History, and DMV Reports.

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years progressive, technical accounting or financial experience
- 3+ years in leadership role
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Bible training and/or Spiritual leadership experience
- Advanced Proficiency in: Internet, Microsoft Office Suite Software Systems, QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
