Quarterly Job Performance Review by: Pastor and Personnel Committee

Position Status: Part-time (20 hours/week-Monday-Friday. 9:00am-1:00pm), Regular, Non-Exempt

Position Summary: The Church Office Administrator (OA) supports and enhances the overall ministries of the Church through pleasant and effective office administration. The OA provides administrative support to the Congregation, Council, Lay Leaders and Staff to strengthen their work; supports and assists the Pastor; designs, publishes and distributes worship resources, documents, certificates and informational materials; maintains and updates the Church's electronic and paper records; coordinates Church services, special services and activities in the Church building; communicates and relates well with the Pastor, all Church leaders, members and friends of this progressive, Christian congregation, as well as members of the diverse, often transient surrounding community; gives excellent "frontline face and phone," and fields and directs calls to appropriate parties; and assists with any additional tasks as needed, under direction of the Pastor.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge with the liturgies of the Christian Church and experience in a church office environment is a significant plus.

HOURS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The OA is an employee of the Church who works 20 hours per week, 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday. The OA shall be paid $15.00 an hour (the equivalent of $14,400 a year), with no other benefits. Payroll is on the 5th and 20th of each month.

PERIODIC REVIEWS: The Pastor will conduct a performance review every 90 days, in collaboration with the Personnel Committee. The OA also works in cooperation with the Church Council and Personnel Committee. Any job performance related concerns are directed first to the Pastor. The Church Council will review annual compensation.

HOLIDAYS: The Church office is closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

VACATION: Two weeks paid vacation after one year of service
