Job Description

One of Spring Hill's most respected law offices are looking for a Civil Litigation Legal Assistant.

Full time, direct hire career opportunity
Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p
$28,000 annually with full benefit package available after a successful 90 day probation period

Litigation assistants work as a team with the attorneys, court administrators, judges and attorney clients, performing administrative tasks, including filing legal documents, handling client communications, performing research, writing legal letters and assisting in formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills and requirements to be successful in this role:

-- 3-5 Years' Legal Assistant experience in last 10 years, 2-3+ years' Civil Litigation Preferred
-- Possess and maintain higher level of professionalism
-- Provide above and beyond customer service
-- Demonstrate proficiency in data entry and overall data management
-- Assist in keeping track of records, billing, documents, calendars, and correspondences
-- Be familiar with court procedures and hearings
-- Proficient with time management and meeting deadlines
-- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook
-- Ability to type 35+ words per minute with 98% or better accuracy
