Job Description

Currently seeking experienced CNC Machine operators for a client in Muncy, PA. The machine operator is key to the production capacity of the company. The machine operator completes the tasks assigned by utilizing the production equipment specified by the Production or Assistant Production Manager.

Qualification

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in metal working environment
  • Knowledge of technical aptitude with metal working technology
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly

Responsibilities

  • Gather or request the Warehouse Clerk to recover raw material, semi-finished goods, or customer material required to fulfill production activity
  • Set-up the production activity that is assigned
  • Change perishable tooling in equipment person is operating
  • Correctly modify offsets
  • Examine the results of their production for compliance to all requirements of the Quality Assurance System
  • Monitor their productive activity for full compliance to order requirements, standards, drawings, special instructions, and applicable specification
  • Follow all standard procedures associated with the manufacturing sector covering assigned productive activity
  • Perform routine daily preventative maintenance on the production equipment beings used, when applicable
  • Follow all plant and area safety rules
  • Follow all requirements of the Q.A.S.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practice in their area
  • Document all activities each production day with accurate entries into the time system
  • Return any raw material to inventory
  • Enter parts completed and parts scrapped correctly into system
  • Clock into machine or machine cells along with the appropriate job
