$16 to $18 an hour Mark up 45%

8:30 AM to 5:00PM 30 minutes for lunch

Knowledge of Windows troubleshooting a must basic computer repair skills

Technical Support Technician
Associates Degree in Electronics/IT preferred Minimum five years
2018-6-8

The Technical Support Lead Technician primary Job is to analyze, resolve and document customer problems with company products. They will provide direct support to end users, resellers and sales personnel. They will be responsible for repairing computers and peripherals that are returned to the depot facility. They must also be capable of effectively and professionally communicating with customers via telephone, email and web.

? Maintain professional and friendly relationships with customers
? Provide exceptional customer service support and assistance to clients
? Validate customer reported issues and resolve in a professional manner
? Issue RMA numbers and provide assistance for return of goods.
? Work as needed to fulfill caseload requirements
? Assist with creating OS and user generated images
? Field customer questions about general functionality and usage of the operating systems and interface software applications
? Provide appropriate solution(s) based on analysis of customer reported problem.
? Communicate with clients using phone and email correspondence to resolve issues
? Troubleshoot complicated hardware and software issues
? Organize, maintain and update the RMA customer support database
? Periodic travel to customer sites may be required

? hands-on abilities
? Excellent organization and verbal and written communication skills
? Associate's degree in electronics/information technology (or equivalent professional ce ification) is preferred.
? 5+ years hardware/software technical support is required
? working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
? Experience with Windows Server
? Experience with wireless/wired networking and VPN solutions is a plus
? Ability to format computer drives and install various operating systems and applications.
? Familiarity with network security concepts including firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection/prevention
