Job Description

Spherion Staffing is searching for a consumer affairs specialist for a local manufacturing company!

The consumer affairs specialist logs and responds to calls, e-mails and letters from consumers. The position serves as the designated company representative to consumers. Will also support manufacturing by writing and distributing product specifications.

Job Duties:
* Receive calls from consumer hotline and return messages as required
* Process and log all calls, e-mails and letters received from customers
* Provide accurate responses to consumer inquires, including reimbursement when needed
* Log and direct complaints or other claims that require additional action
* Provide routine updates for complaints related to illness, injury or property damage
* Process and analyze data to identify trends in consumer contacts
* Prepare and distribute a monthly report summarizing all inquiries, complaints and compliments
* Handle all new item forms by crating, updating and circulating specifications for operations
* Maintain all of the spec books used on the floor, updating and replacing documents as needed
* Manage all forms, procedures and other documents for the QC lab by maintaining the electronic files

Working hours: 8-5

3-5 years of customer service/consumer affairs experience
Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate resolutions to consumer issues
Excellent verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
