Job Description

This long-term temporary position is expected to perform complex and confidential duties to facilitate the review of physician contracts and compliance activities which include an understanding of general compliance regulations and specifically compliance regulations related to physician contracts.

Responsibilities:
50%: Auditing: Conducts ongoing auditing and monitoring of physician contracts in order to ensure compliance with all regulations related to physician contracts and financial relationship
10%: Contract templates: Develops and maintains, up-to-date, compliant physician contract templates, in coordination with the CCO, and provides the most appropriate contract template as may be requested by management.
10%: Maintain physician contract database
15%: Assist with obtaining FM (Fair Market) Valuations, as required by the organization, by working with the FMV vendor selected to provide FMV services, for such payments as physician compensation, incentive payments, physician practice budget development,
10%: Assist with compliance audits, investigations, and other compliance related duties as may be assigned.
5%: Track and monitor regulatory requirements.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING
Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate regulatory compliance concerns generally and specifically related to physician contracting and making timely decisions as to engaging the CCO in seeking a timely resolution.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
The employee communicates effectively. Possesses Tact, diplomacy and confidentiality of all matters.

Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database management
Preferred: Ability to work with budgets and basic accounting skills related to budgeting, basic understanding of wRVU-based compensation formula and uses

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 3 years experience in a healthcare compliance related field
Preferred: 5 years experience in a healthcare compliance related field

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Minimum: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience following the standard two years experience is equivalent to one year of education.
Preferred: Regulatory and/or legal experience, compliance related degree. Master's degree or Juris Doctorate.
