Job Description

The Manager of Contract Administration directly oversees the Company's day-to-day contract administration function, providing contract review and analysis, as well as document management. This position conducts the initial review of various vendor supply, services, consulting and confidentiality agreements to identify legal issues and risk. The Manager of Contract Administration will be the initial contact of contract review for the department and will determine if contracts require the involvement of higher level legal department review or additional consultation with the business unit for internal resolution. The Manager of Contract Administration will also be responsible for the document retention and file maintenance for the Legal Department, to include the maintenance of the electronic management system.
This position will work closely with other departments, including, but not limited to, supply-chain, IT, human resources, finance/accounting, real estate, merchandising (products and services), risk management, and compliance. The Manager of Contract Administration will also support other legal department staff members with corporate governance and maintenance of subsidiary documentation.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Excellent contracts management, software and document management experience
- Strong contract drafting, review and analysis skills, as well as ability to identify and analyze the general legal and contractual issues
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills; ability to communicate and interact effectively and appropriately to a broad audience
- Ability to work independently while delivering excellent business results under demanding timetables
- Strong research skills
- Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, and general computer skills
Education: Four-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
