Job Description

Our client located on the Southside of Jacksonville is in seeking a Corporate Recruiter to recruit top talent and effectively source, interview and onboard new team members. Must be results driven, team focused, with experience developing diverse talent pipelines (internal and external).


Sourcing of active and passive candidates via social media, networking events, career fairs and other community resources (colleges, employment agencies, outplacement services and other resources)
Provide organizational information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport
Determines applicant qualifications by conducting initial interview screening, analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications
Assists departments with scheduling interviews and retrieving feedback from hiring managers
Drive recruitment process to ensure candidate decisions are made in a timely manner
Work with hiring manager and business leaders to determine appropriate compensation package as required and helping them gauge best fit for potential hires. Will also assist with extending and negotiating offers by selling our firm and the position to prospective candidates
Must have an understanding of fundamental HR concepts, employment laws, contemporary HR practices and issues; excellent knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations that affect employment
Must manage and ensure full compliance with onboarding including offer letters, background and reference checks

Working hours: Monday - Friday

Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related discipline from an accredited university, preferred
Minimum 5 years recruiting/staffing experience in a corporate, government contracting, or A/E/C firm
Understanding of OFCCP requirements for recruiting and experience working with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS preferred)
Demonstrated success in recruiting for exempt and manager level staff functions
Familiarity with specialized sourcing strategies to proactively build candidate pipelines
Experience in coaching and working with hiring managers on Talent Acquisition issues
Desired Skills / Competencies:
Must possess an intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Webex proficiency is desired. Internet recruiting / ATS tools is required, iCIMS preferred
Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and listening) with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization, exercising a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy to accomplish staffing objectives
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-pace, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
Self-starter, motivated, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; respectful of deadlines of self and others
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly present recommendation and ideas
Must be highly ethical and discreet with the ability to maintain confidentiality
