Customer Service Representative:
Job starts: October 2016-March 2017 may go longer.
Customer service support to brokers selling products via telephone or written communication.
Assists agents and brokers via telephone or written communication.
Responds to inquiries involving commissions, legislation, product information and policies and procedures for Individual, Small Group, Dental and Life.
Will be expected to average a certain number of phone calls per representative per week, average pieces of correspondence to be processed per day.
Coordinates mailings and fulfillment requests.
Provides reports to brokers.
Working hours: M-F, 8:30-5 pm or 9:30-6 pm. OT required as necessary. Must be able to work a 4 hour or 8 hour shift on Saturdays
High school diploma
2yrs+ of customer service experience (in an OFFICE setting) NO RETAIL
Previous health insurance industry experience preferred. (Benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge.)
Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
Advanced/Proficient computer skills.
Must type at least 35 WPM will be tested.
