Job Description

The CID Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting potential new members with the enrollment process and assisting existing members with making changes to their policies. In addition, they will provide Members with their current benefit information, resolve questions concerning claims for medical and prescriptions coverage by occasionally contacting providers and pharmacies, and assist Members with updating account information. This position requires representatives to pass the Illinois Health & Accident Producer Exam and complete the licensing process through the Department of Insurance.
The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, have previous customer service experience/insurance work experience, and ability to think quickly, problem solve and be productive in a fast paced environment while adapting well to change. This is a full time position (40 hours per week).

Working hours: Shifts May Vary - Full Time Available

--Open availability a plus. Typical schedule requires work every other weekend, based on the needs of the business.

--Must demonstrate patience and compassion toward callers

--Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, percentages)
--Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
--You must be at least 18 years old and pass a background screening and drug test
--Must either currently hold an Illinois Health and Accident Producer Licenses or successfully complete the pre-licensing education during training and pass the state exam
