Job Description

We are in search of Customer Service Logistics Representatives for a company right here in Rockford. This position is for a minimum of 4-months with the potential for full-time employment with the company. These opportunities offer competitive wages and benefits when a full-time opportunity has been offered. The whole customer service team is well managed, tenured and works extremely well together! As your staffing local in Rockford, we will set you up to be successful and support you throughout the assignment:

* $13.00 to $13.50 / HR during the assignment
* Hours: Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
* There is mandatory overtime up to 1.5 hours when required
* Pay increase upon full-time hire

Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Logistics Representative will be the first point of contact in the department. They will interact with both customers, drivers and other team members during the course of the day. They will assist customers via phone, email and fax with inquiries including tracing shipments, billing discrepancies, invoicing and billing questions and other administrative tasks assigned.

* Provide both inbound and outbound customer service support
* Perform a multitude of clerical duties during the course of the day including - answering, directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing
* Assist customers and drivers with expected delivery times and/or delay
* Escalate calls that require dispatch or freight product support
* Communicate with customers by phone or through email in order to provide a great customer service experience.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must possess the ability to work in a very busy - extremely team orientated environment
* Intermediate computer skills including using Outlook, Word and Excel
* Proficiency with Alpha/Numeric keystroke while demonstrating both speed and accuracy
* Good typing skills
* Experience in the customer service field is required
* Must possess the ability to understand or comprehend written and/or oral instructions

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
* HS or GED equivalent required
* Must be flexible to working in changing environments and duties
* A minimum of 1+ years of customer service experience required
* A background check is required
* A drug test is required
