Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of specialty cheeses, is looking to add to their team! The Order Management Specialist will be responsible for all orders from initial order to invoice, including all related communications with other departments (including Sales) and customer concerns in relation to the order.

Responsibilities:
- Receives and processes product orders by phone, mail, internet, email, fax, or sales representatives
- Enters and verifies the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing the company???s software system and customer purchase orders. Data Entry of all customer orders and customer revisions to orders
- Initiates required action for response to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order information files. Communicate changes to the appropriate personnel. Inform Customers of delays and product shortages
- Prepares, generates and distributes daily reports and order acknowledgments to appropriate personnel as necessary. Determines appropriate delivery method based on specific customer???s need
- Retrieves EDI and I-trade orders and confirm orders in both systems
- Interacts with Sales Support on new items, pricing and special customer instructions
- May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if deemed necessary

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- General computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook
Knowledge of database management and the ability to run queries
- Strong problem solving and listening skills
- Great attitude with the ability to work cohesively within a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
- Good organization and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented nature

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- 3+ years working in Customer Service or related field
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of database management and the ability to run queries
- Familiarity in working with an ERP system
- - History of good attendance
