Job Description

Inbound automated call center customer service representative providing support to Medicare and Medicaid members.

Temp To Hire Potential

Responds to customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims.
Assisting members with ordering their over the counter supplies through our on-line portal.
Analyzes problems and provides information/solutions.
Operates dual PC/image station to obtain and extract information; documents information, activities and changes in the database.
Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis.
Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and customer service issues.
Provides external and internal customers with requested information.
Under immediate supervision, receives and places follow-up telephone calls / e-mails to answer customer questions that are routine in nature.
Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
Will be on the phone 95% of the time.

Working hours: 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Will need to have good verbal communication, writing and decision making skills.
Must be able to multi-task, typing while talking on the phone, follow direction from written workflows and work in a team environment.
Must be able to work independently, have good time management and ability to stay focused

High School

0-1 years

Requires limited knowledge of company services, products, insurance benefits, provider contracts and claims.
Seeks, understands and responds to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
Required to meet department goals.
Requires a HS diploma or GED; up to 1 year of previous experience in an automated customer service environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Will currently be working from home until further notice. Company will supply all necessary equipment.
Attendance is mandatory and critical. Any missed time over 16 hours during the first 90 days will result in termination.
3-6 weeks of virtual training Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm
After training hours will be an 8.5 hour shift between the hours of 9:30am - 8:00pm. Shift will be assigned at random so you must be able to work all hours.
