Job Description

As a Patient Care Liaison, you will be taking calls from patients and healthcare providers to assist them with questions around pharmaceuticals, insurance, and patient assistance programs. We invite you to read more about the opportunity and to contact us to learn more.

Responsibilities:
- Answer questions from providers and patients.
- Share feedback and assist management in enhancing the programs in order to provide the best customer experience.
- Input and compare patient data to source documents.
- Communicate with other departments as needed.
- Report inconsistencies and feedback
- Verify benefits that patients are eligible for, including major medical and pharmacy benefit plans.
- Execute day-to-day operations specific to the assigned program(s).
- Promote meaningful relationships and brand loyalty through engaged and informed conversation with customers (healthcare providers, office staff, patients, pharmacists, and pharmaceutical sales representatives).
- Investigate issues that cannot be resolved at the initial point of contact and follow through until issue resolution.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
- Excellent computer skills (i.e Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Typing)
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and active listening skills
- Ability to establish rapport and develop relationships via phone
- Balance multiple priorities to meet expected response deadlines contingent on call and email volume
-Ability to think quickly to maintain conversational discussion with customers

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Must have proven ability to provide consistently high quality of service
- Two (2) years of work experience in pharmacy, managed care, Medicaid and/or Medicare organizations, pharmaceutical and/or biotech manufacturer, insurance, medical office, or related field
- One (1) year of work experience in a customer service or customer focused role
