Job Description

A global connections company is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team. The CSR is responsible for attracting potential customers and maintaining existing customer relationships by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services. Process orders, prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Understanding the importance of the clients needs is key to a successful career with this company!

Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing and entering customer orders, expediting and follow-up.
Processes customer quotes and sample requests.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers, especially those within designated territory.
Captures and immediately forwards sales leads to the appropriate Regional Sales Manager, Inside Sales Associate and/or Application Engineer if appropriate.
Work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
Processes specialized customer reports as requested.
Utilizes customer web portals to communicate with customers as instructed and required by individual customers.
Back-up for others in department as needed for coverage.
Ensures timely and accurate record keeping through paperless filing system.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software programs.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Solid organization and planning capabilities, excellent attention to detail
Ability to understand and correct customer problems

Education:
Associate

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or equivalent experience preferred.
1-3 years??? experience working in Customer Service.
